Privacy Policy

FIOR Law Firm (FIOR Avukatlık Bürosu) is responsible for personal data processed through this website. This notice explains what fiorlaw.com collects, why, who receives it, and how you can use your rights. It applies to visitors of the site. Once a lawyer–client relationship exists, the confidentiality rules of the profession apply as well.

Who is responsible

The data controller is FIOR Avukatlık Bürosu, Levent Mah. Hacı Adil Cad, Fesleğen Sk. No:4, 34330 Beşiktaş/İstanbul. You can reach us at info@fiorhukuk.com or +90 212 830 43 65.

What the website collects

Showing the site requires connection data. The provider that hosts fiorlaw.com processes your IP address, browser and device type, the page you request, and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the page and to protect the site.

The typeface is loaded from Fontshare. When your browser requests those files, Fontshare receives the connection data needed to send them, including your IP address.

The contact page shows maps of our offices. The map tiles come from OpenFreeMap. Opening a map sends your IP address and the tile request to that service. The map does not ask for your name or email address.

The site has no user account and no contact form. If you write to info@fiorhukuk.com or call us, we keep the contact details you give and the content of your message so that we can reply.

Cookies

We store your cookie choice in your browser so that the decision stays on your device. Strictly necessary storage remembers whether you have accepted or refused optional statistics. It keeps those statistics switched off until you allow them. It is not used to advertise to you, and it cannot be switched off from the banner, because the site would otherwise forget your decision.

Statistics cookies are optional and stay off until you choose them. If you accept, Google Analytics may set cookies and receive information about visits: pages viewed, a general location derived from the IP address, and the type of browser and device. We use this to understand how the site is used, in aggregate. Those measurements can also be reviewed in Google Search Console. Search Console does not place a cookie in your browser. It is Google’s record of how the site appears in Search.

If you reject statistics, or leave them off, Google Analytics is not loaded and those cookies are not set. You can change the choice at any time from .

Why we use the data

Connection data and the record of your cookie choice are processed so that the site can operate and so that your decision is respected. The ground is our legitimate interest and, under Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), Article 5. Statistics cookies are used only with your consent. Messages you send are processed so that we can answer you.

Where the GDPR applies to you, consent for statistics is Article 6(1)(a), and operating the site is Article 6(1)(f). Answering a request that may lead to a mandate may also be Article 6(1)(b).

Who else receives it

Connection data is processed by the host of the site. Font files are requested from Fontshare. Map tiles are requested from OpenFreeMap when you open the contact page. If you consent to statistics, Google receives the analytics data described above, as the provider of Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Email you send us is handled by our mail provider so that it reaches the firm.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not add visitors to marketing lists. We share data with a public authority only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you change it or clear the site’s data. If you allow analytics cookies, they expire on Google’s own timetable. We do not keep a separate profile of website visitors on our servers. Connection logs are kept for the period the host retains them for security. Messages are kept for as long as we need to deal with them, and for any longer period the law requires. Client files are kept for the periods set by the rules of the profession.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether we process your data, request information, ask for correction or deletion, learn who received the data, and object to the processing. Where the GDPR applies, you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. You may withdraw consent for statistics cookies at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.

Write to info@fiorhukuk.com. If you are not satisfied with the reply, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board. Where the GDPR applies, you may also complain to the supervisory authority in your country.
